Prototype, without case or platform to mount on.
Soon I will build the prototype external cary and naim style capacitor bank LOL. It will be the same size pcb, with 8x 35v 1000uf capacitors. There will be four wires that will then be soldered in parallel to the existing caps, for a total of 10,000uf ZOMG capacitance. <-----BIG BASS

External Capacitor Bank Upgrade
There will be two external banks. One made up of eight 1000μF Xicon caps (for the V8), and the other one with eight 1000μF Nichicon Muse Fine Gold caps(for the V8-Turbo). The 8000μF in addition to the 2000μF already onboard the amp totals to a whopping 10,000μF of capacitance! There is almost limitless resevoir of power to be drawn at any time for the most explosive dynamic passages as well as the sharpest transients. With the Cap Bank, the amplifier is free to fully express your music no matter the demands placed on it!
The capacitor bank attaches to the amplifier through a cable that is detachable on the amp side. One may tailor the sound to his/her tastes, for example, the bank would be attached for Classical or Live recordings, while removed for electronica, rock, etc. for a faster sound signature.
The V8-Deluxe does not include the capacitor bank because the sound is tweaked for maximum transparency and speed, as well as simplicity in the signal path. The two Nichicon Muse KZ capacitors included are the top of the Muse line premium quality- the best there is.

Testing of power capacitor. There are two HUGE 4700μF Nichicon capacitors! The whole sonic picture was a bit marred, which shows that the point of diminishing returns has been crossed, and maybe even into the territory of negative impact. In the end, two similar Nichicons, valued at 1000μF were chosen.:
v2.0- Cased and better power cap. There is a viewport on the right side of the rear. It allows for instant identification of the power capacitor in use. A larger acrylic viewport will be installed on the top cover to display the signal capacitors.
